Rules & Policies

UNIFORM

  • all students are to wear correct uniform & shoes to each class-

    trivical t-shirt (available from trivical)

    black leggings or shorts (available from kmart, big w etc)

    dance shoes specific for your chosen class (available from local dance shops)

  • students not in uniform may not be able to participate

  • school uniforms are not suitable clothing for dance lessons

  • hair should be in a neat ponytail and off the face

  • no jewellery permitted

FEES

  • full fees are to be paid prior to term start date to secure your place in a class

  • as we do not hold places, failure to pay fees by due dates (with no payment plan arranged) may lead to your place in a class being lost.

  • payment plans can be arranged. simply email trivical to arrange

  • students with outstanding fees are unable to perform in any concert or show

  • no refunds are available under any circumstance

CLASS PROTOCOL

  • students arriving 15 minutes or more late to class, may not be able to participate. this will be the decision of the teacher and if safe for your child to join at the point of arrival.

  • parents are not permitted to watch classes as this can be distracting and off putting for other students in the class. however, on a students first lesson we will organise some special watching time as we understand students can be a little nervous attending somewhere new.

CONCERTS

  • Trivical have 1 concert per year. normally held in november (term 4).

  • participation in a concert consists of weekly dance classes, 1 costume day rehearsal (end of term 3) and then concert day rehearsal & show.

  • concert is held at a professional theatre

  • all students are charged a ‘concert participation fee’ (capped at $60).

    this fee includes costume hire per class, 1 x usb, rehearsals

PHOTOGRAPHY

  • Trivical staff take photos/videos of students in class for social media purposes. these photos are to showcase skills and achievements of our students. posts we make do not use students complete names.

  • if you do not wish your child to be in any of our posts, please send us an email so we can notify teachers.

  • parents are not permitted to take photos/videos of any trivical class without written permission from both the class teacher and any parent of a child who may be in the video/photo.

  • our end of year concert is filmed by a professional company and a copy is supplied to all trivical families on a usb.
